We make it as easy as possible to assemble our shed. Below you can sort our sheds by assembly rating.
Note that the floor and walls are pre-built for you. The doors and windows are pre-hung and trimmed when you get your miniShed package. We pre-cut and pre-assemble as much as possible, and care about your assembly experience.
The "Easy" miniSheds get this label because they are the lightest miniSheds and have the fewest components. These four miniSheds qualify:
• 6x8 miniClassic
• 8x8 miniClassic
• 6x8 miniModern
• 8x8 miniModern
Typically, these sheds will go together within several hours. Two people are required for lifting the wall panels into place. Once the walls are placed, one person can easily wrap up the assembly.
Shop "Easy" miniSheds
The Intermediate sheds are easy to put together, but have a few more components. These two miniBarns qualify:
• 6x8 miniBarn
• 8x8 miniBarn
Our miniBarns have shorter side walls than both the miniModern and the miniClassic, making them lighter. The roof requires slightly more assembly due to the barn shape. Don't worry though, the rafters are completely made for you and the sheeting is cut to size.
Two able bodied people are required to set up the 4 pre-assembled walls due to the weight of our miniBarns.
The following miniSheds are in the Advanced assembly category:
• 8x12 miniClassic
• 8x12 miniBarn
• 8x12 miniModern
These buildings get the advanced label mostly due to their weight. Two strong people can do it. Ideally, you may want to invite several extra friends to help lift those walls.
8x12's also have several more components to assemble in compared to the smaller miniSheds.
We do as much of the heavy lifting for you as possible. You will receive a detailed assembly manual with your package. We are also always available via phone or email should you need any assistance.
