This is our classic miniShed. You can only go right with this style. It fits every landscape, making this small but mighty shed as versatile as you are.
The 6x8 miniClassic is our smallest building. This miniClassic is perfect for small city or town back yards. Many cities or towns do not require a permit for 6x8 and 8x8 sheds, eliminating the headache of getting a permit approval.
The Space
The 6x8 miniClassic is 6 feet wide and 8 feet long giving you a total of 48 sq. ft. of valuable space. The miniClassic is 100 inches tall at the peak of the roof, allowing for comfortable walk in height.
Customization
Wall and trim: You can leave your building unpainted (the smartside will come primed) ready for your own paint, or choose from our many beautiful colours to create a building that reflects your personality. Use the colour combinations in the picture gallery above as inspiration for your design!
Windows: If you are looking for additional lighting or style for your miniShed, a door with transom window may suit you well. You also have the option of adding a 2x3 window to the back wall.
Accent Door: This is how to add a "wow" effect to your special little shed! The accent colour can match the trim colour or it can be a completely different colour.
Shingle or metal roof: The choice is yours. You can't go wrong either way! Think about the surrounding space and aesthetic of your back yard. Does your home feature a metal or shingle roof? Do you want to match the style or complement it?

Materials and Craftsmanship
Materials and Craftsmanship
This is how we build:
Floor - All miniBarns come with pressure treated skids and floor joists. Then we install 5/8" thick LP ProStruct which is super durable and has an easy to clean surface coating.
Walls - The walls are framed with 2x4 premium lumber. We take pride in the fact that we use only the highest quality lumber leaving you with a product you can trust.
The 2x4 framing is sheathed with A-Grade LP SilverTech Smartside. The SmartSide comes with a 50 year prorated limited warranty. We have never seen a warranty claim on the SmartSide and have installed this siding on many 100s of buildings over the years.
We use high end exterior Sherwin Williams paint that comes with a 15 year manufacturer warranty. This paint is second to none when it comes to durability and looks. We couldn't be more pleased with it.
Roof - All rafters are built with the same premium 2x4 lumber that we use in our walls. You can choose between metal roofing that is designed to last a minimum of 20 years or go with our high end shingles that come with a 25 year manufacturer warranty.
